What is Watermark Detection?
Watermark detection (decoding) is a technology that reads invisible information embedded in an image. truvis's decode feature uses Adobe TrustMark technology to check for the presence and content of embedded payloads in images.
Understanding Detection Results
- "Watermark Detected" — A payload was successfully extracted from the image. The displayed payload is the embedded string.
- "No Watermark Detected" — Either no watermark was embedded in the image, or the watermark may have been corrupted by image processing.
- Detection accuracy depends on how the image has been processed. Significant cropping or extreme compression may make detection difficult.
